Stick with a trend. First rule of gambling. Seems that the dogs, and mostly road dogs are winning on MNF this year.

D will carry the day, tonight. Or something like that. I expect the TB defense to come out ready to play tonight. They have the blueprint for beating this team as the Bucs have won 4 in a row vs. Martz and Co.

I still think the ram O line is suspect and will be exposed vs. the Buc front 7. Am I saying it is going to be a shutout? No, I am not saying that. I think Bulger will be forced into a few bad throws/fumbles that will set up Griese with a short field tonight.

TB concentrates on the run with Pittman vs. an average Rams D. Griese doesn't have to win the game tonight, they just don't want him to lose it.

Faulk might find the sledding tougher vs. a Bucs D rated 4th overall. Not that Martz ever runs the ball anyway.

Rams have lost bad at Atlanta (above avg. D; avg. O), barely beat Ariz (same) and were roughed up by a Saints team that we saw last night is terrible.
TB couldn't score for a few weeks but rely heavily on the D to keep them in games. I feel that it will happen tonight.
Griese is a wild card tonight and might spark the Bucs offense that has to this point of the season been lifeless. They scored more than 20+ points last week vs. a below average D, the same thing they will be going up against tonight.

TB: 27
STL: 21

...take a small flyer on the over as well. In case the Rams do unleash the fury. This will be a hedge bet.

:heh:
